The T1000’s reflector is made from a flexible urethane rubber that resists damage and “self heals” to a limited degree. Our testing at a public range suggests that a single reflector will likely last for over a thousand target-impacts before it needs to be replaced. Our T1000 kit includes a spare reflector and more can be purchased separately.
... PermalinkNo, the T1000 was designed to be on metal targets and is activated by the resonance frequency of a bullet hitting the AR500 targets. The T1000 is mounted behind the target, so any target that a projectile can pass through can hit it and that can and will damage the T1000.
... PermalinkThe T1000 is water resistant. It can withstand rain while it is mounted on the target. It is not waterproof though. If it falls into water, damage can occur. If any type of impact occurs on the PC board or a bullet hits the aluminum housing, damage may crack the seal in the T1000
